Melissa Libel began her dance career at age 5 and by the age of 10 was competing nationally,
winning various top scores and scholarships. Throughout her years in high school, she continued
competing with Perseverance Dance Company. Her TV and film credits include Baby’s Day Out, The
Untouchables, and a True Value Hardware commercial. At 14, Melissa was chosen to tour with the
production of The Tap Dance Kid. Melissa joined the CFD staff out of high school and continues to be
recognized at competitions with choreography awards and high scores. She has a wonderful
husband, Brian, and two beautiful children.
