Tristan Whitley was born and raised in Amarillo, Texas. As a child she was involved in every activity from basketball and soccer to gymnastics and tumbling, but it was dance that stuck with her. Her love of storytelling and the thrill she feels on stage has given her the drive to pursue her passion as a career. Tristan's mission is to strive to share her personal light with the people around her. To make the choice every day to believe in herself and others, and to use her passion, intelligence, and talents in both her career and personal relationships.

Tristan is a recent Dance Performance Major from Oklahoma City University. There she has spent four years performing with the American Spirit Dance Company, directed by Jo Rowan. She is grateful to have received both performance training and an education surrounded by her wonderful peers and teachers. At OCU, Tristan fell in love with every aspect of the performance world. She had the opportunity to take classes for acting, singing, choreographing and teaching dance along with her dance technique classes. As a newly minted Chicago Girl, she is excited to be joining the Artistic Pursuit faculty.
